Regional wildfire maps
FireRadar regional pages sit between province-wide maps and individual community pages. Each page uses an explicit FireRadar counting polygon and current direct-official incident data where source health supports a trustworthy regional summary.
FireRadar regional extents may overlap near transition areas. Regional totals are useful local summaries and must not be added together to produce a province total.

How FireRadar defines a region
Regional pages are manually selected for wildfire relevance, recognizable geography, useful map scale, current source coverage, and a meaningful cluster of local communities. FireRadar uses a curated polygon for repeatable incident membership instead of counting every fire inside a broad rectangular viewport. The outline is informational and is never presented as an emergency, municipal, Indigenous, fire-centre, or predicted-spread boundary.
