Wildfire Watch brings supported situation context together for each dashboard location. Focused Alerts separately monitor an individual fire, route or condition.
After setup
FireRadar keeps dashboard locations and focused Alerts current.When a supported update meets the applicable configuration, FireRadar uses the email, browser or SMS delivery methods you enabled.
Alert timing depends on source updates. FireRadar alerts are not emergency notifications.

Focused Alerts
Add focused Alerts after your dashboard.
Monitor an individual fire, a supported route or a selected condition. Alerts are separate from Wildfire Watch dashboard locations and Saved bookmarks.
Fire restrictions
Get alerts when published fire restrictions change for a supported location.
Fire Danger
Get alerts when a supported regional Fire Danger rating crosses the level you choose.
Smoke or AQHI
Choose a wildfire-smoke forecast threshold or an observed AQHI threshold for a place.
A specific wildfire
Open an official wildfire on the map, then choose Get updates about this fire.
What Plus can alert you about
A supported official wildfire is detected near a dashboard location.
FireRadar Concern Level meaningfully increases.
A supported route closes, reopens or receives a major restriction.
Severe weather or nearby wildfire context changes on a configured route.
An official fire restriction is issued, changed or no longer reported.
Fire Danger reaches, increases above or recovers below a threshold you configured.
Smoke or AQHI crosses a threshold you configured.
Not every source update sends a notification. Focused Alerts follow their selected conditions; Wildfire Watch notifications follow the dashboard location's configuration.

Choose the dashboard and Alert capacity you need.
The public map stays free and ad-free. A Free account includes one Wildfire Watch dashboard location and three basic email Alerts. Plus expands those independent allowances to five locations and ten enhanced Alerts.
