Help improve FireRadar.ca

Feedback and issue reports

Clear reports help us improve the map, investigate data concerns, and make FireRadar easier to use across Canada.

Send feedback

Email feedback@fireradar.ca. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

For map or data concerns

Include the fire name or identifier, province or territory, approximate location, the page or shared link, what appears incorrect, and the official source you used for comparison.

FireRadar republishes and organizes information from external sources. Some differences are caused by source delays or corrections, but credible reports help us identify ingestion and display problems.

For technical problems

Include your device, browser, approximate time, the steps that caused the problem, what you expected, what happened instead, and a screenshot when practical.

Useful examples include search failures, mobile layout problems, overlapping cards, broken share links, slow loading, inaccessible controls, or a layer that does not display correctly.

Source and coverage suggestions

Suggestions for official provincial, territorial, municipal, or federal data sources are welcome. Include a direct source link, the organization responsible for it, the geographic coverage, and any known licence or access requirements.

What happens after you write

We review legitimate reports and may ask for more detail. Submission does not guarantee a response, correction, feature, or timeline, but high-impact accuracy and usability issues are prioritized.

Not for emergencies

This mailbox is not continuously monitored and cannot dispatch help, confirm evacuation status, report a new fire, or provide emergency advice. Contact 911 where appropriate and follow the official wildfire and emergency authorities responsible for your area.
