What these changes mean
- Newly observed wildfire
- An official wildfire record present in the newer FireRadar observation but absent from the immediately preceding comparable observation. It does not establish ignition time.
- Reported size change
- The difference between two source-reported incident sizes within the stated comparable-source scope. It is not measured fire spread.
- Moved to out
- An official record whose status moved from active to out or extinguished between two comparable FireRadar observations.
- Official perimeter revision
- A change in official perimeter geometry recorded by FireRadar. It may reflect mapping, correction, boundary revision, or incident change and is not labelled burned-area growth.
