Wildfire context for Stave Lake
Stave Lake is a large reservoir surrounded by dense Coast Mountain forest, hydroelectric infrastructure, forestry and recreation roads, off-road destinations, remote camps, and steep valleys. Wildfires can affect access roads, industrial operations, recreation, utilities, and smoke well beyond the urban edge of Mission.
Why this place-level view is useful
The reservoir has a distinct outdoor and resource-access audience whose concerns are not represented by a Mission centrepoint. FireRadar provides current official wildfire context while road, land-management, utility, and emergency authorities remain responsible for access and restrictions.
