Garibaldi Provincial Park covers a large Coast Mountain landscape of conifer forest, alpine terrain, glaciers, lakes, trailheads, backcountry camps, and remote valleys between Squamish and Whistler. Fire and transported smoke can affect different access areas very differently, and a town-centre reading does not represent conditions across the park.
