Opasquia Provincial Park protects an immense roadless boreal landscape of forest, lakes, rivers, wetlands, wildlife habitat, canoe routes, and fly-in wilderness. Fires can affect aviation, remote recreation, traditional land use, field operations, and smoke across an area hundreds of kilometres from major road-access services.
