Wildfire context for Lac Seul
Lac Seul is a sprawling reservoir and lake system with complex forested shorelines, islands, Indigenous communities, hydroelectric infrastructure, fishing lodges, boat-access properties, and road approaches from several directions. Fires can affect communities and recreation areas far from Sioux Lookout or Dryden while smoke spreads across the lake.
