Wildfire context for Stone Mountain Provincial Park
Stone Mountain Provincial Park protects rugged mountain terrain, forested valleys, alpine plateaus, wildlife habitat, trails, campgrounds, and a section of the Alaska Highway. Wildfire can affect lower forested areas, approach roads, recreation, visibility, and smoke while alpine conditions remain very different.
