Wildfire context for Cathedral Provincial Park
Cathedral Provincial Park protects steep dry forest, subalpine basins, lakes, ridges, remote trails, and backcountry terrain above the Similkameen Valley. Access is limited and conditions can differ sharply between the valley floor and high elevations, while nearby wildfires may influence smoke or approach roads without entering the park.
