Wildfire context for Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux Heritage Park
Stein Valley protects an extensive roadless watershed of dry Interior forest, coastal-transition forest, river canyon, alpine terrain, Indigenous cultural landscapes, and remote backcountry routes. Fire conditions can differ from the Fraser Canyon floor, while smoke and incidents near access points may still affect visitors and nearby communities.
