Wildfire context for Castle Wildland Provincial Park
Castle Wildland contains mountain forest, grassland transition, river valleys, trails, camping and public-land access near the Crown of the Continent. Dry summer conditions, strong winds, and rugged terrain can produce highly local fire and smoke effects across the park and adjoining valleys.
Why this place-level view is useful
The protected area is a distinct recreation destination southwest of larger population centres. FireRadar provides current official wildfire context while Alberta Parks remains responsible for closures, access restrictions, camping rules, fire bans, and park operations.
