Wildfire context for Regional District of Fraser-Fort George
Fraser-Fort George extends from the Prince George area east through long mountain and river valleys toward McBride and Valemount, combining sub-boreal forest, agriculture, forestry and resource activity, rural properties, Indigenous communities, rail lines, and Highway 16 and 5 corridors. Fire impacts can be widely separated but still share regional services and smoke.
