Research New Brunswick in 2018

New Brunswick's annual fire record is comparatively compact geographically, but fire count, burned area, cause and month remain separate measures and should be compared through the underlying official tables.

The National Forestry Database tables can be filtered by jurisdiction, cause, month and fire size. Those source categories provide the most accurate way to review New Brunswick's 2018 record.

CNFDB fire locations and mapped polygons have different completeness. FireRadar never infers a historical perimeter from a fire point or final reported area, and a missing polygon is not described as evidence that no fire occurred.
