Common questions

Does Free include monitoring?

Yes. A Free account includes one basic monitored Saved item with one selected supported email alert condition. Plus expands that to five customizable enhanced monitors with multiple supported conditions and advanced controls.

What is Wildfire Watch?

Wildfire Watch is a Plus feature for one chosen Canadian community. FireRadar checks qualifying direct official wildfire information, can begin tracking developing nearby incidents, reassesses Concern Level as official information changes, and notifies you when concern meaningfully increases. An exact home address is not required.

How do Plus notifications work?

Plus alerts can be delivered by email and, when enabled, optional browser or supported mobile push notifications. Notification permission is configured separately on each browser or device. On iPhone and iPad, add FireRadar to the Home Screen and open it from there before enabling device notifications.

What happens if I cancel Plus?

Plus remains available through the paid period shown by Stripe. When paid access ends, the account falls back to the Free limits. FireRadar does not intentionally delete Saved items or a Wildfire Watch configuration solely because of the downgrade; excess or Plus-only monitoring becomes plan-paused until it fits Free again or Plus is restored.

Is FireRadar ad-free?

Yes. The FireRadar map is ad-free for both Free and Plus users. Paying for Plus adds monitoring and analysis capabilities; it is not an ad-removal fee.

Want FireRadar to do more of the watching?

Wildfire Watch, five customizable enhanced monitors, richer alerts and optional browser/mobile notifications are included with FireRadar Plus.
